CosX leads the way on AI in education
CosX AI systems
CosX deploys AI to solve problems which couldn't otherwise be solved.
Explore AI systemsAI safety
While we push the boundaries of what's possible, we will never compromise on safety.

Solving problems only AI can solve.
We believe that Large Language Models will have a transformative impact on both teacher workload and student outcomes. Where we identify problems that AI can help solve, we will push the boundaries of what's possible in order to solve them, while never compromising on safety.
See how CosX is already using AI below:
Automated feedback on written work (beta)
CosX AI is carefully optimised to follow mark schemes and provide concise, formative feedback on student submissions - written or typed.
Discover CosX AssignmentsAI tutoring (beta)
Cosmo, our powerful AI tutor, is carefully optimised for safe and effective dialogue with students on specific curriculum content or following teacher instructions.
Discover CosmoReport proofreading
At the click of a button, CosX AI will proofread a report or adapt it from one student to another.
Discover CosX ReportsAI safety
A safety first approach.
The transformative potential of AI in education will only be realised if we get AI safety right. Here are the measures CosX has in place:
Visibility
All interactions between students and Cosmo, our AI tutor, will be visible to teachers. The system will flag any inappropriate or concerning interactions.
Constraints
All conversations between students and Cosmo, our AI tutor, will be limited either to specific curriculum content or teacher instructions.
Review and edit
All teacher generated AI content - edits from report proofreading, student feedback and assignment instructions - can be reviewed and edited by teachers before publication.
Prompt injection
All AI API requests include safety prompts to prevent malicious or inappropriate prompt injection.
Personal data
Identifiable information is not sent to AI models, for example: when proofreading reports, the student's name is replaced with a generic one and then substituted back after proofreading.
